WHAT’S INSIDE:

200 grams of our Biocultura pure hydrolysate bovine collagen powder, an important protein your body requires more of as you age.

WHY IT’S HEALTHY:

Benefits of consuming bovine collagen include arthritis relief, bone loss prevention, and greatly improved skin health.

WHEN TO TAKE IT:

As you get older, your body produces less of this vital protein. Symptoms of deficiency include fatigue, muscle weakness, body aches, and joint pain.

Description

What’s the recommended dosage?
Start with double the recommended dosage for your first two weeks to build up your body’s collagen reserves. After that, 2-3 scoops a day is the maintenance dose. A scoop is included in every pack.

How should I take it?
Once daily, ideally first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It dissolves easily in water, yoghurt, juice, a smoothie, or your morning coffee — the powder is neutral tasting so it won’t affect flavour. Consistency matters more than timing, so pick a routine you’ll stick to.

Is it Halaal certified?
Yes — certified by the Muslim Judicial Council. Because collagen is sourced from animal or marine connective tissue, verifying Halaal certification with a recognised body is essential, and BioCultura’s is independently audited.

Is it safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Yes. Collagen supports skin elasticity as your body changes during pregnancy, may help reduce stretch marks, and supports post-partum recovery and breastfeeding mothers.

Why powder instead of capsules?
Powder is more easily absorbed, and the effective daily dose would require an impractically large number of capsules. Powder also lets you adjust your intake to how your body responds.

How is bovine collagen different from marine collagen?
Bovine collagen is sourced from cattle connective tissue and is rich in Type I and III collagen — well suited to skin, joint, and bone support. Marine collagen is sourced from fish skin, absorbs slightly faster, and is a good option if you prefer a non-bovine source. Both are Halaal certified. [See our full marine vs bovine comparison →]
