Description
Marine & Bovine Collagen with Vitamin C & Zinc — Combo Pack
This combo pairs two of BioCultura’s enriched collagen formulas: Marine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc (made with Naticol®, wild-caught, clinically studied for skin elasticity and firmness) and Bovine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc (grass-fed, Type I & III collagen for joint, gut, hair and nail support). Both are dosed with added Vitamin C and Zinc, giving you broader collagen-type coverage plus the nutrients that support the body’s own collagen synthesis, in one bundle.
Halaal certified. Made in South Africa. 2 x 230g tubs. Hypoallergenic, dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, fat-free, preservative-free.
What’s Included
- Marine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc (230g) — wild-caught, made with clinically studied Naticol® fish collagen peptides, predominantly Type I collagen, favoured for skin elasticity, hydration and firmness
- Bovine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc (230g) — grass-fed, Type I and Type III collagen, favoured for joint mobility, gut lining support, and hair/nail strength
Why This Combination
Marine and bovine collagen aren’t competing products — they’re complementary. Marine collagen’s smaller peptide size and predominant Type I content make it especially effective for skin-focused goals, while bovine collagen’s broader Type I and Type III profile supports joints, gut lining, and connective tissue more comprehensively. Both formulas in this combo add Vitamin C and Zinc, because Vitamin C is a required cofactor in the body’s own collagen synthesis — supporting what the collagen peptides themselves are doing — while Zinc contributes to normal immune and skin function.
A Note on Combined Daily Zinc Intake
Because both products in this combo contain added zinc, using both at their full recommended daily serving means your total zinc intake is higher than using either product alone. Based on the Marine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc label, a full 10g daily serving provides approximately 21mg elemental zinc; if the Bovine Collagen + Vitamin C & Zinc formula is dosed similarly (to be confirmed against its specific label), using both products at full serving could bring combined daily zinc intake close to or above the standard upper intake level (40mg/day in the US, 25mg/day in the EU). If you’re using both products daily long-term, it’s worth checking your total zinc intake — including any other zinc-containing supplements — with a healthcare provider, or alternating which product you take on a given day rather than taking full servings of both simultaneously.
How to use
Mix 2 scoops (10g) of each product daily into any hot or cold food or beverage, per the instructions on each tub. Many people alternate between the two, or use one in the morning and one later in the day.
Who it’s for
Adults wanting broader collagen-type coverage — skin-focused and joint/gut-focused — along with the Vitamin C and Zinc that support the body’s own collagen production. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or on chronic medication, consult your healthcare provider before use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take both tubs on the same day?
Yes, there’s no issue combining marine and bovine collagen. Just be mindful of combined zinc intake if using both at full serving size daily — see the note above.
What’s the difference between the two tubs?
Marine collagen is sourced from fish, is almost exclusively Type I collagen, and is favoured for skin elasticity and hydration. Bovine collagen is sourced from grass-fed cattle, contains both Type I and Type III collagen, and is favoured for joint, gut, and connective tissue support more broadly.
Why do both contain Vitamin C and Zinc?
Vitamin C is required for the body’s own collagen synthesis, so pairing it with collagen supplementation supports what the collagen peptides are doing. Zinc contributes to normal skin and immune function.
Is this combo Halaal certified?
Yes, both products in this combo are Halaal certified.
